It was a night filled with excitement, cheers, and unforgettable memories at Concord High School’s 2024 Homecoming celebration. Under the dazzling stadium lights, the crowd was electric as the much-anticipated announcement of this year’s Homecoming royalty took center stage during halftime of the Friday night football game.
Students, alumni, and families gathered in the stands to witness the crowning moment, with the Homecoming Court members, dressed in their finest attire, standing proudly on the field. After a week of spirit-filled activities, the night reached its peak when the 2024 Homecoming King and Queen were revealed.
This year’s Homecoming King, Dustin Hamilton, known for his involvement in Varsity baseball, cross country, and as an assistant coach for Varsity volleyball received a roar of applause as he accepted his crown. Hamilton thanked his peers, saying, “I am just so thankful for everything.”
Dustin’s mom, Tina Hamilton, her smile beaming, exclaimed, “I am very proud of him; he did amazing .”
Standing beside him, with her crown glittering under the lights, was Hannah Stimer, the 2024 Homecoming Queen. Stimer is admired for her involvement in Varsity golf, basketball, and softball, president of student council member NHS. She was all smiles as she was crowned, beaming with excitement. “I did not expect it at all, and I am very thankful. ”
The night also featured the rest of the court, with students from each grade being recognized for their leadership, school spirit, and contributions to the CHS community.
With school pride at an all-time high, the 2024 Homecoming game and crowning ceremony will be remembered for years to come as a highlight of Concord High School’s tradition.
