Leadership students raise funds

Georgia Weeks, Staff Writer

BOO! Haha, scared ya! With Halloween just this coming weekend everyone is in the spooky spirit, especially our high school students who wore their Halloween costumes to school.

On Friday, Oct. 29th students had the chance to pay $5 to dress in their costumes. This was a fundraiser put on by Paityn DeForset, Maddy Connelley, and Kayla Miller. The money made from this goes toward the Jackson animal shelter. There were about 20 students that dressed up and in total they made, with donations included, $115. They plan on doing more fundraisers for the shelter so all money made will be donated at the end of the year!

Happy spooky season!
