On Wednesday, May 14th, families of many different seniors gathered in the high school gym for the annual event of Senior Awards Night, which was filled with a tremendous amount of joy as the seniors prepared for their next chapter in their lives. This evening celebrated the achievements and hard work of the graduating class.
The ceremony started with Mrs.Snyder giving a warm welcome to all of the students and family members who showed up to celebrate the achievements of the seniors. One of the highlights of the night was the presentation of the “Chuck Cole Memorial Scholarship Award, “ which was given to nine seniors at Concord, one of whom was a family member of the scholarship, Taylor Cole, Chuck Cole’s granddaughter. When asked about the awards she shares, “I think it was really fun. I enjoyed seeing everyone’s families. It felt really cool getting awards from my family, and it was obviously emotional, but it was nice. My favorite award I got was my grandpa’s award; it was really neat getting one from my own family, and also was really just sentimental to me.”

As the rewards were presented, students were recognized for their contributions to both the school and the community. Many different awards were given out from many different scholarships and organizations, which will help pave the way for many of the seniors’ future careers. Another student who received many awards was a senior, Dustin Hamilton. When asked about senior night, Dustin shares, “ I liked how our entire class was together; it went very well. It was one of the last things we will probably do together, so having that was nice. My favorite award I’ve gotten was the sportsmanship award It’s probably my favorite just because I’ve been looking at it forever

In the hallway, and always wanted to be on the wall.”
The night came to a close with seniors taking pictures with their awards and family members. The senior class valedictorian, Paige Morris, shares about the night, “It was very well organized and fun and nice to be a part of with all of my classmates. The Quiz Bowl award really stuck out the most to me because of my love for Quiz Bowl, and it truly was an honor to receive the award.”
Congratulations to all of the seniors who received awards, and also to the entire class of 2025. We will always support you and are excited to see all of the incredible achievements your future holds for you.
