As graduation approaches, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Pyper Norris! Known for her kind heart and creativity, Pyper has spent her senior year not only keeping up with classes but also following her passion at the career center.
Throughout high school, Norris has been known for her warm personality, effortless sense of style, and dedication to the things she loves. One of her biggest passions is beauty, and she’s spent her time at the career center building skills. She’s not just learning a trade, she’s stepping into a future where she can help people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.
Caleigh Pitney went to career center with Norris. She says, “I always have so much fun with her. She told me all about Concord High School, and in the end, she had a big impact on my move here. She showed me all around the school and was one of the first people I met here. We went to cosmetology school together for a while, and she still does my hair regularly. ”

In addition to her work in the beauty program, Norris was also a dedicated member of Concord High School’s girls’ golf team. Whether it was early morning practices or long days on the course, she brought her calm focus and steady determination to every swing. Golf taught her patience, discipline, and the importance of keeping a cool head under pressure, skills she will carry with her far beyond high school.
Grace Thorrez remembers the time she and Norris did gymnastics together in middle school: “We were both just so little and innocent back then. We always had such a great time. She was probably my first friend. She is available any time I need to talk, she can brighten your mood with the little things she says, she’s just very easy to be around.”

Outgoing is the word Maddy Okley would use to describe Norris. “She is the total opposite of me; she’s a very extroverted person, which I love about her. I remember our freshman year history class, Piper had to go to a map and point at any country and name it. She pointed at Canada and very confidently said China and that’s a memory that will never leave my head.”
Outside of school, Pyper enjoys spending time with friends and family, making memories that will last a lifetime. She’s known for her sense of humor, her creativity, and her ability to brighten any room she walks into.
Danni Fritz works with Norris: “It’s really fun when we work together, it doesn’t happen often, but when we do, it’s super fun and we just laugh the whole time. She’s a great friend, just as spontaneous as she is. I definitely hope that we will still see each other a lot after graduation.”
When asking Mrs. Osterhout what she would give Norris on her way, she tells me, “I hope for her to not lose her drive and ambition for her career path and keep moving forward. She’s going to be great. She’s just such an amazing and intelligent kid.”
We’re proud to feature Pyper Norris in this week’s Senior Spotlight and can’t wait to see where her talent and determination take her next!
