Prom 2025 is just around the corner on April 26, 2025,and people are already getting their dresses. This year trending prom styles are mermaid, strapless, backless, poofy, and more! Some students already bought their prom dresses, including Helena Naumann, Ray Lebron, and Lilieana Vandenburgh.
Vandenburgh got her dress from Camille La Vie from Great Lakes Crossing Outlets. She recommends people go there because “it’s huge and has lots of options.” Vandenburgh is most excited about getting ready for prom.
Lebron went to Windsor in Ann Arbor to get their dress. Although Lebron has only been to Windsor in person, they would still suggest it online as well: ” They have some nice affordable dresses that are super pretty.” They got a blue dress for this year’s prom.
Naumann went to Memories Bridal Evening Wear in Kalamazoo. She chose a pretty long, strapless, white and pink floral, flowy dress. Naumann’s dress is very suitable for her style for this year’s prom. She is most excited to “see all my friends dressed up for prom; I’m very excited to just have a nice time with everybody.” She suggests people go to Memories and Bridal evening wear because there was considerable privacy and the stylist was very helpful and understood exactly the style Helena wanted.
If anyone needs a prom dress, we had some donated in the past few weeks. And if you need a seamstress for alterations, Mrs. Caryn Brandonsiso has available appointments. She is a member of the community, and she often helps at track meets. You can reach her at 517-740-4621.
If boys are looking to rent or buy suits and tuxedos Men’s Warehouse in Jackson is local and affordable. Some trends are velvet red, blue, black, and all colors. Paisley designs are popular or any pattern that’s subtle blended in the color of the suit or tuxedo.
