Concord High School is proud to announce its 2025 Snowcoming Court featuring freshmen Amari Blakely and Rakai Hill, sophomores Darrell Dean and Haley Stimer. as well as Juniors Tyler Rundle and Jaylin Knoblett. Our Senior King and Queen candidates are Jayden Carpenter-Sattler and Grace Thorrez, Alek Warner and Helena Naumann, Drew Uncapher and Pyper Norris, Lucas Tyler and Paige Morris, and Manix Furqueron and Caleigh Pitney.
Freshman Amari Blakely, the son of Jaslynn Shearer, Jason Ribar, Matt Blakely, and James Jackson. His hobbies are basketball and hanging with friends. Blakely is nervous about being a freshman on court but excited. Outside of school, he enjoys going to Christ Apostolic Church. Blakely´s favorite thing about Concord High School is ¨basketball and the sports in general, I enjoy them.¨
Rakai Hill is a freshman, daughter of Michelle Jones and Robert Hill. She explains how it feels to be on court as a freshman: ¨It feels good, I feel like it’s a good way to put myself out there.¨ Hill enjoys dancing which most
people don’t know about. And her other hobbies are shopping, painting, and hanging out with friends.
An athlete on both the varsity basketball team and track team, Darell Dean is a sophomore and the son of Temia Lane. Dean’s favorite activities are walking the halls and art with Mr. Couling. His hobbies are sleeping and hanging out with friends.
The daughter of Kiersten and Bart Stimer, Haley Stimer is a sophomore. She is in the Student Council and is also involved in sports including cross country, golf, basketball, softball, and varsity track. Her biggest inspiration is her sister and people in her family. Stimer states what she likes about Concord High School: ¨I like that its a smaller school, you get to know more of the people around you and closer to them.¨
Junior Rundle, son of Travis and Sarah Rundle, plays football, basketball, and track. ¨It´s a pretty cool experi-
ence to be on court and my family is really excited for me as well.¨ Rundle explains. Something people may not know about Rundle is he enjoys camping. Rundle enjoys our community at Concord High School.
Knoblett is a junior, daughter of Tonya Charles and Ross and Amber Knoblett. Knoblett is in student council, NHS, prom committee, and Honors/AP classes. Her favorite classes are Leadership with Mrs. O and Advanced Art 3 with Mr.Couling. Something people may not know about Knoblett is that ¨I love eating, my favorite food to snack on is a chicken sandwich.¨
Jayden Carpenter-Sattler is a senior, the son of Arleen and Chris Sattler. He has been in the school marching band since grade 9. He plans on attending Jackson College for 2 years and Central Michigan for 2 years. Carpenter-Sattler plays drums at his church as well. Carpenter states who inspires him: ¨I’m pretty original, but my grandma inspires me to be a better person.”
Senior Grace Thorrez is daughter of Jeff and Cheryl Thorrez. Thorrez plays on a number of varsity teams: golf for 4 years, basketball for 3 years, and track for 2 years. She is in NHS, Student council, attends church, and plays in the band. Thorrez will attend college and may be attending Spring Arbor University to play basketball and dig deeper into her religion, while studying business. Thorrez explains how she feels about Concord High School: ¨I like that the people and environment here is so uplifting, and Hannah is my favorite person.¨
Another senior representative, Alek Warner, is the son of Brandi Warner. Warner played varsity football up until his junior year and then continued senior year. He enjoys cooking and playing his games a lot. Warner´s plan after high school is to go to a trade school or work. Warner states how Concord helped him during his time here: ¨I’m thankful for my coaches, they helped me grow, become more respectful, and mature throughout my high school career.¨
Senior foreign exchange student Helena Naumann is staying with her host parents Carrie and Kody Skinner. She is active in church and volunteer work at an animal shelter. Naumann plans on completing two years of school in Germany and then study HR management. ¨it is very exciting being on court, obviusouly I’m an exchange student, and we don’t have anything like this in Germany, so it’s super exciting to experience this.¨ Naumann says. She enjoys her stay at Concord High School because ¨everyone is so welcoming and the teachers are super helpful.¨
Drew Uncapher is a senior, son of Chris Winter and Sean Uncapher. He plays baseball and will be starting golf his senior year. Uncapher is NHS and student council. He plans to attend Western Michigan or the University of Cincinnati to pursue mechanical engineering. Something people may not know about Uncapher is ¨I enjoy being outside a lot, and enjoy playing golf.¨
Senior Pyper Norris is the daughter of Bree and Scott Hornand Darrel and Monica Norris. She has played varsity girls golf for 3 years. Norris is in NHS, National Tech Honors of Jackson career center, and 2 years of the Cosmetology Career Center. She plans on studying business at Jackson College, cutting hair and continuing her hair education. Norris’s biggest inspiration is ¨My career center teacher Mrs.Sager; she inspires me a lot.¨
Lucas Tyler is a senior, son of Jana Crider and step-dad Lewis Herrera. He has played baseball all of his high school career. He is in a youth group at the Freeway Church in Albion MI, 4-H Swine program at the Jackson County Fair. Tyler plans on going to Madonna University to study animal science. Tyler states that some people may not know about him is that ¨I help my grandma out with my paralyzed uncle.¨
The daughter of Alan and Rhonda Morris, senior Paige Morris runs both cross country and track and has since her freshman year. Morris is also in Robotics, Quiz Bowl, and band. She plans on studying engineering. While undecided about college, she wants to change the world for the better in her free time. ¨Outside of school I like to make dance videos with my sister, and I like to sing in the shower.” Morris states her things to do outside of school.
Manix Furqueron, a senior is the son of Jackson and Elizabeth Furqueron. He plans to work full time as a motor sports graphic designer and to further his career as a race car driver. ¨I drive race cars and enjoy it a lot, hoping to further my career in it later on,¨ Furqueron explains.
Caleigh Pitney is a senior is the daughter of Courtney Miller, AJ Miller, Jackson and Mercedes Pitney. She played softball from her freshman to sophomore year, Soccer junior year, and golf senior year. Pitney plans to attend Grand Valley and study early childhood education. Pitney explains about her stay at Concord High School:¨The thing I like most about Concord High School is the people are so friendly and welcoming, especially the teachers.¨
