This week we would like to shine some light on an amazing senior here at Concord, Isaiah Kreiger, whose journey from kindergarten to this point has been nothing but extraordinary.
Krieger has attended Concord since kindergarten and is greatly known for his outstanding academics, amazing leadership, and ability to brighten everyone’s day with just a smile. That’s one of the reasons we were shining light on his accomplishments.
Isaiah has been consistently involved in sports during his high school career. He played football, wrestling, and track. Krieger explains, ¨ My favorite sport is probably wrestling because I lost a lot of weight.¨
Now Krieger plans to pursue his career as a U.S. Army Ranger. He is currently in his second year of JROTC at the Career Center. He also recently attended the 2024 National Raider Challenge Competition in Fort Knox, Kentucky along with other Concord students who are also involved in JRTOC.
When asked about his favorite teacher, Isaiah mentioned, ¨I don’t have a specific one but I enjoy Ms. Fiero, Mr. Saucedo, and Mr. Couling is pretty cool too.¨
Ms. Fiero was asked to describe Isaiah, and she answered, ¨He is a very loyal person who is dedicated to his family and leadership. He’s got a really carefree personality and knows how to take charge of a moment.¨ Ms. Fiero also adds,¨ Isaiah is a very dedicated, strong individual who is persistent, and I’m proud of him for pursuing his career.¨
Senior Dakota Asbury is one of Krieger´s closest friends. They’ve known each other since kindergarten and enjoy each other’s company. When Asbury was asked how he would describe Isaiah, he stated, “He’s a nice, hardworking person who also cares about others.¨ Asbury also explained that, ¨One of my favorite memories of Isaiah is when we went to the Rader Home Competition.¨
Senior Brigham Bentley is another close friend of Krieger’s. When he was asked how proud of Isaiah he was, he answered, ¨’ I’m proud of him for committing to the military, being hard-working, and sticking with his career.¨
Finally, Krieger decided to leave some words of advice for students at Concord. He said, ¨Take your classes seriously because I didn’t think I wanted to go to college until my senior year.¨
Isaiah is a kind person and a friend to everyone. We truly thank him for the examples he has set for upcoming seniors. We want to wish him the best of luck, and we know he will do amazing things in life.
