Last Friday was filled with dressing up in purple and gold and amazing fun at the 2024 pep assembly. Kids from all grades went down on the field and enjoyed the games the student council put together. 

Iyla Weeks and Danni Fritz were our main student council members to make the fun happen on Friday. They used TikTok, Pinterest, and previous games from other years to come up with crazy fun ideas for all the games during the week and the pep assembly. She may have liked the blindfolded musical chairs but the mattress slide was new and more liked. “They’re new super fun exciting games, so people will try.” Danni was most excited about the blindfolded musical chairs.

While the people joined in on the fun at the football field, the rest enjoyed watching in the stands supporting their class by cheering them on. “The spirit games at the pep assembly created great memories and was a chance to better connect with my friends,” Dustin Hamilton stated. 

Kingston Travis had fun playing tug-of-war with his freshman class. He explains,  “I liked playing tug-of-war against the seniors.” 

The pep assembly came to a close with the seniors winning hula hoop, sponge toss, blindfolded musical chairs, tug-o-war, and battle cry, the freshman winning the gladiator game. Overall all grades enjoyed the games, and the school spirit everyone brought out to play.
